Diploma in Church Music (Dip. CM)

Begining from 2017-2018 Academic Year, a new program Diploma in Church Music (Dip. CM) will be launched.  Dip. CM is an evening class starts at 5:00 PM and ends at 8:00 PM, every week day.  It is a three year program which prepares the candidate to be a professional musician for the church. High School education is required for application. The candidate must complete minimum 90 credits.  The objectives of the course are to train the candidate for music ministry in the churches and to provide excellent music skills with proper biblical and theological understanding.

The uniqueness of this program is that it is designed to promote classical music in Myanmar. Accordingly, there are only two majors of field of study: Voice and Conducting.  This study covers the following modules: Western Music Theory, Ear Training and Sight Singing, Vocal Pedagogy, Choral, Conducting, Voice principal, Piano, Voice, Worship design, Composition,  International Phonetic Alphabet, Music and Theology, Performance Lap, Recital, and Field Education.
